The Fitzsimmons Foundation

The attorneys and staff at Fitzsimmons Law Firm PLLC are dedicated to helping people not only through our legal and professional services, but also through our commitment to our communities and home. As part of this commitment, the Fitzsimmons family established the Fitzsimmons Foundation in 2007 in order to improve the quality of life for our neighbors and to help those that are less fortunate.

We are proud of our community and will continue to make it our place of business and home. We believe in giving back to our home region, the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, and reinvesting in our community. Two particular areas of emphasis for the Foundation have been providing better education and opportunities to children, especially those with disabilities, and ensuring that everyone receives the basic essentials of life.

Since its inception in 2007, the Fitzsimmons Foundation has grown to over $7 Million and has contributed nearly $1.3 Million to numerous community and charitable organizations and events throughout the Ohio Valley. Some of these organizations and causes include local schools and athletic programs; violence against women; substance abuse prevention; mental health awareness and treatment; feeding, sheltering, and clothing the homeless and needy; helping to improve the lives of disabled children and adults; local dog shelters; various church organizations and events; recreational facilities for our children; and community landmarks. In 2015, the Fitzsimmons Foundation made donations to our local dog park which is now known as the Fitzsimmons Family Dog Park.

As the foundation matures and grows, our goal is to continue our Firm's and family's strong tradition of philanthropy and helping as many people in need as possible.
