Mark Colantonio Joins Fitzsimmons Law Firm
Fitzsimmons Law Firm is pleased to announce that Mark Colantonio, a top personal injury and insurance litigator, has joined the firm. Colantonio comes to Fitzsimmons Law Firm from a plaintiff's litigation firm in Weirton, West Virginia where he was a partner for over 30 years.
Colantonio adds his extensive experience as a trial lawyer in personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance matters to the Fitzsimmons Firm's strong practices in these fields. Colantonio earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, where he graduated cum laude at the top of his engineering class. Colantonio obtained his Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University, where he graduated second in his class and was a member of the West Virginia Law Review. At West Virginia, Colantonio also earned the distinction of Order of the Coif.
Drawing upon his experience, Colantonio will continue to represent clients who have been injured or killed as a result of workplace accidents, product liability, explosions, defective pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices, and personal injury claims. Colantonio will also continue to handle insurance disputes, complex civil litigation, class actions as well as represent businesses in complex commercial litigation. Colantonio is licensed to practice law in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania and has tried cases to verdict in various courts in all three states.

Colantonio has successfully argued cases before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Pennsylvania Superior Court. He has also been selected as a West Virginia Super Lawyer by his peers every year since 2010.
