Two lawsuits have been filed by Fitzsimmons Law Firm on behalf of workers who were burned and injured in a June 7, 2010, gas drilling explosion at the Witzgall #2 gas well site in Moundsville, West Virginia. At approximately 1:18 a.m. on June 7, 2010, the methane gas ignited triggering a massive fire and explosion with flames over 70 feet high and resulting in a total loss to the drilling rig and surrounding structures. 7 workers were burned and injured in the explosion and fire which lasted for nearly 5 days. The cases are pending in the Circuit Court of Marshall County, West Virginia against Defendants AB Resources PA, LLC; Chief Oil and Gas, LLC; SEDCO Consulting, LLC; Union Drilling, Inc.; and BJ Services Company.
